Tigé Boats are imported and distributed throughout Australia by ProWake, the only Australian authorised importer and national retailer of Australian compliant Tigé Boats with factory-backed warranties.

The National Tigé Boats Showroom is located at ProWake Headquarters on the Gold Coast, Queensland. With room for over 20 boats in the showroom this is an excellent place to see the Tigé range and get the best advice, face to face.

Authorised Importer & Distributor

As the only authorised importer and distributor of Tigé Boats in Australia, all new boats that are brought into the country are controlled by ProWake. This serves to ensure that:

  • boats and trailers are Australian compliant;
  • boats are backed by Tigé factory warranties;
  • boats are thoroughly water-tested and are correctly pre-delivered; and
  • boat specs and quantities are controlled for maximum resale for Tigé owners.

So, who is ProWake?

As well as being the national retailer of Tigé Boats, ProWake is a physical and online wakeboard and waterski retail store based out of the Gold Coast. Lead by 2x World Series champion and 3x Australian Pro Tour champion Daniel Watkins, the ProWake team have been involved in watersports for the last 35 years.

With three retail stores and one of Australia’s largest online stores, three wakeboard schools, two service centres, Tigé boat expert staff and mechanics, and as creators of some of the biggest events in Australia, ProWake is continually pushing themselves to provide the best experience for all of their customers, especially their Tigé owners.

What about Grey Imports?

Grey imports not only hurt the local and international boat market, but they can potentially hurt the buyer of the grey import, especially with Tigé Boats. Here are a few things to consider about grey imports:

  • Grey imports are explicitly not covered by Tigé factory warranties.
  • There is a high chance that a grey import (including the trailer) will not be Australian compliant. If an accident were to occur on or off the water with a non-Australian compliant boat or trailer then insurance usually won’t cover it.
  • US Tigé retailers are not legally permitted to sell and distribute boats to Australia or Australian-based customers without passing the sale through Tigé Australia.
  • Grey imports are given low priority service on any maintenance and service required.
  • The resale value on a grey import is significantly lower than the resale on a genuine Australian-compliant and authorised Tigé boat.
